Tuesday,19th December: School trip!

Hi everyone!


As I told you the other day, today we have attended a talk at the Conde Duque cultural center.
The book's editor, Juan, has explained the argument of Almudena García's book entitled "another education is possible".
In the speech about the different alternative schools like Montessori, Waldorf or Regio Emilia.
From my point of view it has been very interesting.


And that's all for today. There will be no more classes until after Christmas so I hope you have a happy Christmas. See you in January!

Friday, 15th December

Hi everyone!

Today was the last day of class until the return of the holidays, because Monday will be a day for the review of the exam and on Tuesday we are going to another school trip.

During today's class, we have continued with the presentations and our classmates have talked about the deschooling.

When they have finished presenting the theme and as usual, they had prepared a Kahoot!


And that's it, that's all for this week and as I said before on Monday there is no class as such. On Tuesday I will tell you about the trip.

The day of the first exam

Hi everyone!
As I told you, today we had our first exam, where we were asked about education in ancient civilizations (Egypt, Mesopotamia and India), Greece, Rome and the Middle Ages.
The exam was eliminatory, that is to say if we approve we eliminate this content and if we suspend we have to examine us in February of all the agenda (this part and the one that remains to us to see)
The exam was formed by five questions where you had to put true or false without justifying the answer on the works that we have been exhibiting (although if you failed to subtract points) and two questions to develop briefly about the power points that the teacher had uploaded.

I hope to pass!

Monday, 4th, December

Hi everyone!
Today we have continued with the presentations.
It was the turn of our Danish colleagues, who spoke about the emancipation of education in their country.
Then they have prepared a Kahoot!
The next day, we we will have to do an eliminatory exam.

School trip

Hi everyone!

Today we have gone to the museum of education which is located in the School of Education.
When we arrived we entered a room with many old objects and the guide explained what they were and what they were used for.
After that, we entered another room where we could see objects of the Montessori methodology.
Throughout the visit, we were able to understand what education was like before and how it has changed or continues to change.
It was a very interesting visit.

Monday, 4th, December

Hi everyone!
Today, a classmate called Pablo, has done his presentation about new methodologies.
His has spoken about differents methodologies like Montessori or Waldord.
After that, we have done a play in two groups. The game consisted in answering some questions by groups and who could get more points the game won.

Friday, 1st December

Hi everyone!
Today, we have the “game” class and my group has prepared two games. At first we will play a Kahoot!. Next, the two best at Kahoot! have to formed two groups with the rest of people. The next Play will be the tic-tac-toe, where we will ask questions to each team and if they guess they can put or move a card.
Finally, the winner group will recive some candys.
